About Genawise

Genawise is a privately held Australian company. The company creates software solutions for a large range of business accounting problems. To date these have included several specialised financial and accounting type systems commencing in the DOS environment and now exclusively concentrating on Windows™ based systems. 

We have been building financial software systems since 1998. 
We listen to our clients and analyse their needs. We implement changes and add features based on client input.

The development is done a mixture of :

• Clarion for Windows from SoftVelocity
• C Programming Language
• TransacSQL from Microsoft SQLServer

Clarion is a very efficient language and development system for producing fast Windows programs. 

For data storage, we prefer to work with Microsoft SQL Server databases.

Recent development has focused on the supply and maintenance of large business systems using Microsoft SQL 2005 as the database.

Our development team remains at the forefront of new technology. 

Directors

Company directors are John Griffiths and Dennis Watkins. Mr Griffiths controls all the software development programs whilst Mr Watkins takes a more administrative role, helping to keep the Company on course in line with our objectives as set when we teamed up many years ago.

Mr Griffiths has extensive banking experience gained from working in Westpac Bank from 1966 until 1990. In has last few years at Westpac, he commenced part time business studies. He completed his degree in Business (with a major in Information Technology) in 1992 from Edith Cowan University in Western Australia

Mr Griffiths is our primary analysis and development officer. 

Dennis J Watkins
Director
B.Bus. (Man.), Grad. Dip Ed.,  M.Ed. Man.

Mr Watkins has wide management and lecturing experience. He has managed some large construction projects, and was Vice-Principal of Perth Bible College for many years. He has been lecturing in management at the Perth Institute of Business and Technology (PIBT) since 1996.

 Mr Watkins completed his degree in Business (with a major in Managment) in 1992 from Edith Cowan University in Western Australia. He later obtained his Masters degree in Educational Management from the University of Western Australia.
