About Genawise
Genawise is a privately held Australian company. The company
creates software solutions for a large range of business accounting
problems. To date these have included several specialised financial and
accounting type systems commencing in the DOS environment and now
exclusively concentrating on Windows™ based
systems.
We build
financial software systems. And when there are bugs
we fix them.
We listen to our clients, implement changes and add features based on
their input.
The development is done mainly with "Clarion for
Windows" from SoftVelocity. Clarion is
a very efficient language for producing fast programs. We prefer to
work with Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Recent development has focused on the supply and maintenance of large
business systems using Microsoft SQL 2000 and Microsoft SQL 2005 as the
databases.
Our development team remains at the forefront of new technology. This
involves working from both USA and Australia.
Being able to provide support via email and telephone, and exchanging
information via our web pages makes this work seamlessly for our

John Griffiths is our primary analysis and development officer. He
holds a degree in Business with a major in Information Systems
graduating in early 1993. John worked for a major Australian bank for
nearly 25 years until 1991, then leaving the bank to complete
his studies full time.

directors are John Griffiths and Dennis Watkins. John
controls all the software development programs whilst Dennis takes a more
administrative role, helping to keep the Company on course in line with
our objectives when we teamed up many years ago.
