Change Interest Rate

 

Task: You want to change all interest rates for one account type where the present rate is 8.75% p.a. to 9.15%

 

 

1. From account Menu, select the Change rate button.

2. Select the Account Type from the list presented.

3. Enter the old rate (8.75)

4. Enter the new rate (9.15)

5. Set the Date the change becomes effective

6. Click [Doit]

    

   If there are any accounts within that type, then an Exception Report will be presented. Print this to use for cross-checking.

   If no problems were found, then the rates will all have been changed as requested.
