When No Existing MS-SQL Server

 

If you have no existing MS-SQL Server available, the installation of Genawise Loan Manager System is provided in Three packages.

 

1.         The MS-SQLExpress system for database Server component

2.         An installer to setup the database within MS-SQL Express (or an existing MS-SQL Server system)

3.         The LMS program and supporting files.

 

 

The Three Install Programs

 

1:   "LMS_sqlexpressOct2008b.exe" may be used to install a copy of the Microsoft SQLExpress system where you do not currently have access to an MS_SQL database system. This is a large file (about 37 Megabytes) and can take many minutes to download, even on broadband connections.

 

2:     "SetupLMSRestoreExpress.exe" is used to add the sample database to the SQL system installed in step 1. This uses a SQL script to Restore from backup.

 

3:     "SetupLoanManagerCorp.exe" used to install the program components.

 

 

These can all be downloaded from www.genawise.com.au        

 

The install process must be carried out in the same order as the files are described above.

 

 

MS-SQL Express

 

The MS-SQLExpress install we provide can require a high level of technical expertise to install and configure as desired. This version of MS-SQL is a large download and has several pre-requisites, such as .Net Framework 2.   See the Microsoft web site and search for SQL EXPRESS for more details.
